Back in 2010 we started a tournament to find the Top 5 Hip Hop Albums for Every Year starting from 1984 to 2010, to see the results from that check HERE. We did it by asking people on the RHHF FB page and on the forum to chose their top 5's from a different year each week. One of my intentions was to show that there were dope albums from every year. But going along the years, it was interesting to see the changes in Hip Hop and how the amount of quality albums being released varied. Most people would say the golden age of hip hop was during the late 80's and early 90's but surprisingly most people who took part in this, found that 1995 had the most amount of dope albums. Raekwon's Only Built For Cuban Linx, Big L, GZA, 2Pac, ODB, Mobb Deep's The Infamous, AZ, The Pharcyde and more released classic albums that year, but after that there was a big fall off. Many sites and groups have done tournaments to vote for the best Emcee or Producer, but I hadn't seen it done with albums before so I wanted to try something different. So after putting together the Top 5 albums for each year from 1984 - 2010 (which you can see Here), we put the albums in tournament style brackets, matching the albums up against each other to see which ones would come out on top and which would win overall. Another reason to do this, was to show that there were classic Hip Hop albums from the 2000's not just the 80's or 90's, so I thought it would be interesting to see what would happen when classics from the 2000's were matched up against classics from the 90's. Which brings us to the latest round in this tournament: 2004's Madvillainy by Madvillain goes up against 1998's "Moment of Truth" by Gang Starr. We'd appreciate your vote's for which one you want to go through in the comments. Madvillainy or Moment of Truth (The last round we did had Deltron 3030 against Masta Ace's Disposable Arts, Deltron 3030 progressed through)

New Video from Legendary Battle Emcee Loaded Lux joined by Method Man & Redman. Great to see new dope music from NY, the video has that classic NY Hip Hop feel. The song is from Loaded Lux's mixtape "You Gon Get This Work", a catch phrase he started in his battle against Calicoe last year. Check out the trailer Here:
