the bit in the movie 8 Mile where Eminem was in the car with his friends shooting people with the paintball gun was actually based on a true story with Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E were driving around and shooting people with a paintball gun that had red bullets so when it shot it looked like blood, they were shooting people at the bus stops just like Eminem did in the 8mile movie. Anyway the police caught Dre and Eazy and arrested them, when they got out they told the rest of NWA and NWA wrote the song Fuck Tha Police,

Where did u find this?? LMAO!! Thats comedic genius lol

Sick With It

the beat from Fashawns "When She Calls" was supposed to be for Jay Electronica, but Exile accidentally sent it to Fashawn instead.

Charles Hamilton was supposed to be the 5th member of Slaughterhouse, he claims he actually came up with the idea for the group.

there was a hit on Eazy-E before he died, the FBI knew about it but didn't do anything about it, Jerry Heller thinks its coz of Eazy's songs like Fuck Tha Police.

Illmatic didn't reach Platninum untill December 2001, 6 years after it was released. all 4 singles failed to chart and yet it is considered one of the most influential and best hip hop albums. just goes to show when it comes to hip hop the poppy bullshit has always dominated the charts, even during the golden age

Rakim dissed Big Daddy Kane on the song Let The Rhythm Hit Em, BDK found out and called up Rakim and talked it out, so Rakim changed the bars dissing him

also 50 Cent (the famous robber not the rapper) is on the back of Rakims album Paid In Full

Dang why would exile screw up that much and call it an accident... I would have much rather heard jay electronica on that beat. But it was fashawns first album, jay e. probably would have just made it another song that would fall into the hundreds of other tracks his got.

I JUST EXPLODED INTO RAINBOWS AND LOLLIPOPS!

Black Milk is known for the trademark sound of the drums on the songs he produces, however he doesn't actually play those drums, they're played by a professional drummer, i forgot who he is, but i was watching the video on youtube, black milk just makes the sound of the rhythm he wants the drummer to play and the drummer plays it. people often criticize dr. dre for using musicians in his beats and not doing it all himself but most producers do the same thing

Erykah Badu has three babies to three different famous rappers, Andre 3000, The D.O.C. and Jay Electronica, D.O.C. originally denied the baby was his. she also dated Common for two years
