Which MCs are absolutely the most essential in music players across the world?

Lol what you mean? The question is self explanatary. If you pick up an avid Hip Hop listeners ipod, who r the MCs that should be in there?

This is an impossible question...lol

errrrrmmm...
These come to mind..

Andre & Big Boi - Outkast
Pharoah & Prince Po - Organised Konfusion
Nas - Illmatic & Godson
Common
Stres - Spirit Agent & Antennae
El Da Sensai - Artifacts
Del - Deltron
Chali 2na - J5 & Ozomatli
Seven Star
Lauren Hill - Fugees

I think they're the obvious choices for me, but there are plenty more MC's that everyone should know...

Even if your not into Eminem's newer music, you need MMLP and SSLP. Plain and simple.
Also, The Roots, their last three releases are some of the best things to be released in the last four years.
And everybody needs the Mos Def from Black on Both Sides and Blackstar.

I did not like Mos Def at all for the first 2 years or whatever when I heard him. No idea why, his lazy lips probably, but point is he's not as universally likable as many others. For example Pharcyde, their shit is easy to get into. Seems like a lot of arrogant rock-fans get to like them, even though they always thought anything related to rap is shit.
Damn, Chinita, that's a whole lot of essentials.
Agree with 2pac, Eminem, Quest, Run-DMC, Common, Roots and KRS-One.
