Thought this might be interesting. Any of you guys use last.fm? I'd be pretty curious to see how my tastes match up with others as well as just to see what kind of stuff other hip-hop heads listen to outside of hip-hop.

Here's mine:
http://www.last.fm/user/Romencer17

as you can see i bump a lot of shit outside of hip-hop, a lot of metal in the top charts cause I used to listen it almost exclusively, nowadays I don't dig it as much, listen to a shitload of prog/psych rock kind of stuff as well as lots of random stuff. But yeah, share if you got em, if you don't have one/don't know what it is check it out and I recommend trying it. If you're a music nerd like me it's crucial

"Music you have in common includes Magma, Can, King Crimson, Yes and Pink Floyd. "

This makes me very happy

also is there a last.fm group for RHHF or you guys ever thought of making one if enough users have last.fm? would be kinda neat to see our accumulated charts

I mainly listen to hip hop, mainly cause I'm too lazy to download something else. Plus, I'm a 320 whore.

Was there daily listening limits or something? Can't remember the reason I didn't stick around there...

no, no listening limits. there was a trial of like 30 tracks on the lastfm radio or whatever but other than that basically your free to do whatever. i added you so you need to get back to it lol

Compatibility is super. C:
Imma update my stuff. What is that stuff good for tho? Branching out in musical taste?

Right, now I see why I left... Only 30 songs in that radio thingy, which really is just a playlist of similar artists, and the vast majority of tracks I'm not able to play, probably because their license isn't valid for where I live. I don't really see that site very useful...

its not supposed to be super useful lol, i've found a ton of new artists but other than that its basically just a cool site that keeps track of how much and what you listen to. also, cool peoples and groups with cool peoples

yeah I don't like any kind of radio services online, prefer to pick what I listen to myself cause I find I have a better listening experience if I read up on the album and listen to the whole thing rather than hearing a random track come up on a radio playlist and thinking "cool I'll have to listen to that... someday", ya know?

as far as the uses of last.fm, when i first found it i did think it was pretty pointless in the long run but now I'm stuck far too deep in it. My chart's feel like my life's work haha
