
Illmind is a Filipino American hip hop producer from Bloomfield, New Jersey. He has participated in Beat Society, competing against well-known acts like Kanye West and Just Blaze. He has produced for underground artists Akrobatik, Organic Thoughts, Supastition, El Da Sensei, Dave Ghetto, Hezekiah, Fel Sweetenberg, and Verbal Seed. He has two tracks on Hezekiah's album and was the producer of Verbal Seed's single "Take Advantage". He is currently under G-Unit's Sha-Money XL's Money Management production company where he resides as in-house producer for 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and the rest of G-Unit.
He collaborated with producer Symbolyc One, releasing an album entitled The Art of One Mind. The Dallas based duo created an underground buzz. The album features Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah, Little Brother and several other notable artists. The single from the album is "The Broke Song" featuring Strange Fruit Project.
Illmind produced the songs "The Beginning" and "Nobody Like Me" from the Little Brother mixtape The Chittlin Circuit 1.5 with the latter being released as a single. Other notable productions by Illmind are "Let's Go" from Boot Camp Clik's album The Last Stand and "Cardiac" from Sean Price's album Jesus Price Superstar. Illmind has produced four tracks on the new Little Brother album titled Getback.
Illmind currently produced tracks for Kenn Starr from his debut album Starr Status, Chaundon off his debut Carnage, P.A.C.I.F.I.C.S. EP titled The Case and new stuff on Absolute Value from Akrobatik.
Illmind also teaches Music Production & Business part time at Harlem Children's Zone, an after school program for high school teens.
