R.I.P Teddy Pendergrass, Soul Icon, Legend and Inspirational Figure, Dead at 59

Soul Icon and Legend Teddy Pendergrass, has died at the age of 59 on Wednesday. According to reports, Pendergrass recently had undergone colon cancer surgery and had a difficult recovery.

Teddy Pendergrass started his career as the lead singer for Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes and then went on to have a successful solo career. Pendergrass has many hits during his 30 plus year career, including “Close the Door”, “Love TKO”, the Grammy award winning “Joy” and “Turn Off the Lights”. He will definitely be missed.
