"TENSEI” The core members, Midas Wells (Serengeti, Haiku), and Simple X (Herma Puma) represent the culmination of decades of music production and instrumentation experience, each proving to be a capable producer in his own right. All long-time friends, having worked together on various projects, have followed their respective paths that have gone in different directions over the years, but managed to reconnect with each other which resulted in the forming of this new outfit. Tensei's infuenced by multiple genre's of music; including hip hop, soul, jazz, trip hop, dub, and rock amongst others.
