Pearl of Africa proudly presents its 8th Annual African Independence Day Ma'at Celebration, August 6, 2011

This year Pearl of Africa has chosen to honor and celebrate the lifetime achievement of Brother Mumia Abu Jamal, death row inmate and political prisoner.

This event, like previous years is a FREE community event designed to unite the masses of every day people with the grass roots and conscious community, that we may grow together as one force. This year and previous years, our goal is to provide the community with positive influencing, life changing lectures and entertainment from historians, natural paths, children entrepreneurs, conscious entertainment groups and speakers .
