N' uh, the second son of Pope Alexander
The sixth of Rome N' once the picture was shown
That's how the devils tricked my dome.."

"In Volume One of Celebrated Crimes, Alexandre Dumas, père states that some pictures of Jesus Christ produced around Borgia's lifetime were based on Cesare Borgia, and that this in turn has influenced images of Jesus produced since that time."

i think jesus' image was around long before this guy ;) over 1000 years b4

i like that sng but that line is blasphemy

want an example E

This fresco of the bust of Christ with an alpha and omega is the first known representation of Jesus with a beard; it dates from the late 4th century. It was discovered in the Cemetary or Catacomb of Commodilla on the Ostian Way in Rome.

every nation of people on earth tended to make Jesus after their image African's portray black the Ethiopian Christian Orthodox Church from her birth used the black version of Jesus every church is known for using an ethnic version of Jesus so people wouldn't be shocked and can RELATE it's not blasphemy because none of the Churches gave an official statement on his ethnicity it's widely agreed on that he was a Semitic and what you show there is an Orthodox version of Jesus i live in a predominantly Christian Orthodox country i saw that pic millions of times a middle eastern man living 2000 years ago doesn't look like that how do i know ?? I'm half Semitic myself and saying blasphemy shows your White Christian bias

LOL, yeah, that one word response really helped the flow of this thread :D At least explain logically how you aren't biased.

one word cos i dont need a rant.
2nd, im not biased cos im not a christian fanatic, i stated an obvious point so theres no need for a full explanation.
peace

What I posted was not me stating that he was right. I showed you where Killah Priest got that info from. He obviously reads the works of Alexander Dumas who actually originally made that accusation. Idk what Jesus really looked like or if that image is actually a portrait of Cesare Borgia, but what I do know is that Dumas claimed Borgia, who is historically portrayed as a very crooked person and was a bit of a mentor to Machiavelli, was the person that they created the image of Christ to resemble and Killah Priest mentioned this. I also know that it is highly unlikely that Christ was really white. He was probably Middle Eastern and historically, Middle Eastern people of the time were very dark, some even black, so I'd guess the image that we see commonly is fallacious.
