like one comment says is this info verifiable?? i studied Gandhi all my life the only thing that i saw a lil bit off side was how he ignored his wife Kasturba for the cause for him the first thing was the cause then the family thats the only thing it seemed strange and of course he was just a man but he liberated India from English dominion but he ddidnt fulfill all cause they divided and still waged war the muslim indians and the hindu indians and the article itself is outrageous and dumb i mean who wrote it i think it wrote it from her/his own mind or he is a Paki cause from Gandhi's death many people both Paki's and the west tried to bring shit to his name but there is no evidence to prove that he was a sexist ohh and the years were the 30's and 40's of course sexism in those years was in the air not only in eastern society in the western one too so i dont know if the years that he lived in is as proof that he was a sexist
and this is a dilema how come Gandhi said that but in another quote said this:
GANDHI ON WOMAN
Woman is more fitted than man to make exploration and take bolder action in nonviolence... There is no occasion for women to consider themselves subordinate or inferior to men....Woman is the companion of man, gifted with equal mental capacity....If by strength is meant moral power, then woman is immeasurably man's superior....If nonviolence is the law of our being, the future is with women...
And who wrote that got the words twisted so it can bring shit to Gandhi's name how come Gandhi said to his wife her role is in the kitchen when Gandhi said this i quote :
Role of Women
"Womanhood is not restricted to the kitchen Only when the woman is liberated from the slavery of the kitchen, that her true spirit may be discovered"
