The leaked wikileaks document stirred the pot in Tunisia, the country was already boiling up with anger the wikileaks documents just hit the nail and people just exploded, at last someone is standing up in the middle east against these dictators, who is next? Egypt? i hope so, more information on the ongoing Tunisian revolution check these links:

ummm..... surely wikileaks didn't "cause" the revolution, but obviously it's one of the few sources, sadly, that is even reporting it. that's pretty crazy though!

Didn't look up the links since I already knew about it..
But ya'll know that 4chan (yes 4CHAN...) is behind the revolution? OR at least is a main supporter?
A group that frequents 4chan named anonymous helped shut down government sites in support of wikileaks and they also shut down some major credit card websites (only for a very short period) when they stopped funding Assange.

Who would have thought /b/tards were actually politically active.. Normally their raids consist of pissing off 12 year olds lol.
Operation Tunisia

Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.

I said that because that's how people in the western world know the revolution, of course the Tunisian revolution is pretty much autonomous and very unionist in nature.

Yes i saw that, he was actually inspired by the Tunisian student who burned himself alive as protest, in fact from that student protest started the Tunisian revolution in reality in that day , plus in the same day the independent Tunisian labor union UGTT ( which shockingly, resembles an anarcho-syndicalist union) called a general strike and things kicked off. The internet was a major help for the people there, exactly like Iran's green revolts the internet offered a medium for communication and mobilization, especially in Tunisia where Internet is needed because the western media tries to ignore the revolution because Ben Ali and his dictatorial regime was an ally of the west in fact was a puppet government.
