For convenience I will refer to the Übermensch as the uberman.

For those who don't know, the uberman was basically a goal proposed in the philosophy of Nietzsche. It is supposed to be a future state of humankind in which people will have overcome their human-ness, and many negatives inherent with it. The uberman became the solution to negative nihilism because it would provide a higher state of values that we have yet to actualize. On his quest to write his magnum opus defining objective (and possibly absolute) values, you can see Nietzsche building towards it by the use of the uberman. Although he went nuts and never completed the writings. But I still see the uberman as a function in positive nihilism.

Is the uberman a noble goal for humanity?

Is the uberman a practical goal for humanity?

Are there any people that have come close to the uberman in history?

We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...
