i'm talking about bad Latin Jazz. some artists just don't know what the fuck they are doing. there are a few, but the majority just don't fucking get it. it's like in hip hop. you have a shitload of poser asshats like Lil/Young/Yung Faggot (just a blanket term for all the fags with the Lil/Young/Yung prefixes), but then you have the few here and there that get mainstream exposure that are dope. maybe not to the same degree, but it's the same in Latin Jazz. you have a bunch of tards that are trying to make music that sounds EXACTLY like every other lame piece in the genre and they don't know how to expand the genre at all, then you have the few, like Puente. believe me, i've heard some BAAAD Latin Jazz. i live in a predominantly Latino community for Christ's sake!
