The Canadian Rap Phenom Shadrach Kabango better known as Shad or Shad K. finally released his third album after the fantastic The Old Prince. I thought this was by a longshot his best album and his coming out party. He really let his musical side and lyrical side blossom and every song is filled with spirit, humor, and messages. My favorite track by far was Lucky 1's. I can listen to that song all day and just vibe. I would definately rate this a 90%. One of the best releases of 10.

That video was dope. I liked how it began in reverse then played back normal. Very clever but cheap at the same lol I expected that much from Shad. I like his humor and how down-to-earth he makes his music.

finally listened to the whole thing, man this album is sick as fuck. i'd say this is the best i've heard this year all songs have awesome lyrics, and nearly all of them have awesome beats, only song i didn't like was We Are The Ones but every other song was dope. my favorite songs were Keep Shining, Lucky 1's, A Good Name, Call Waiting, Listen, Rose Garden and At The Same Time. one of the few this year i've heard use consistant word play and dope rhymes and pull it off without sounding repetitive or cliche, this i think is because most of his songs had good topics so they were just some braggadocio songs like others do song topics ranged from conscious, deep, self reflective and he even managed to still show off his rhyme skills and word play on songs like Yaa I Get It, he combined skill very well with subject matter consistant production, only beat i didn't like was We Are The Ones but i liked every other beat enjoyed the way the samples were used, a pretty happy sounding album, makes me feel good just to listen to it Overall Rating: 86%

i'd say its worth a purchase, still can't tell if it has good lastability though coz i've only gone through the whole album about 1 and a half times, i usually only buy albums that have lastability
