Commenting on how Masta Ace is sometimes overlooked despite his skill, Rolling Stone says, “even the most avid fan of raw hip-hop lyricism can sometimes neglect to mention Masta Ace alongside hard-bitten champs such as Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick and Kool G. Rap”.

nah not really, he's dope he deserves top 15 but not enough for top 10. he's good but he isn't that great.

his delivery and flow isn't the best, and like i've said before the lyrics on his first few albums weren't that great but he got better, but still i find his flow a bit awkward. and sometimes his delivery needs more energy, his delivery in his early days was actually really good and he used to rap with a lot of energy but then he got sort of laid back

nothings wrong wit his flow or delivery to me...I think its because he got a NY accent and the way he pronounce his words probably

I personally think its impossible to have a top 10 rappers list but ACE is Definitely up there with the best... His "A long Hot Summer" album is, in my opinion, one of the best albums ever... i can listen to the whole thing straight through, over and over... not too many other albums I can do that with

I bet most of yall never heard "Take A Look Around", an debut album from Masta Ace. He was crazy with lyrics right there. Sick stories and ish. You cant call yourself Masta Ace fan if you haven't heard this album
