 Heard of him a few months ago, didn't ever get into him. Google Trends shows he's blowing up big time. He's okay, might be next sensation, being associated with Kendrick Lamar and all. Better than Wiz Khalifa IMO, though I'm not gonna jump on his jock, far from that good.
How come he's suddenly so much discussed?

 Ab-Soul's a part of Top Dawg Entertainment, along with Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, and ScHoolboy Q. He was the underdog of the group, but now he's getting his shine from that reputation alone.
He's not a weed rapper. He's conscious. And his music is dope to blaze to.

Get his new album, Control System. He has another album called Long Mentality and he also has two mixtapes, but I forgot their names tho.
Kendrick's my favorite member of TDE by far tho.
