Quote (Kiba)
good stuff, NZ hip hop iz good!
if you think about the job these cats plus aussie and UK
what they hav done to rep there country...
man i would not wana go through that shit
you would hav to be so dedicated and expect to make fuk all money for such a long time
plus a good 80% of ppl will stay pretty much unheard of, for there whole careers which aint good

gota say Scribe put NZ on the map wit dat crusader cd
also did Scribe call that cd the crusader after the rugby Union team? lol
i know you new zelanders be loving ur rugby wink

yeah thats why i don't like scribe he makes such dumb references like that. idiot.

Quote (Strykah)
i listen to some NZ hip-hop i dont wanna be rude but i think that aussie hip hop is better
i like savage(before he kinda sold out), DAS crew, Deceptikonz, Con Psy. i liked scribe's first
single but after i wasnt feeling him,

yeah savage is a sellout. but we have much better lyricist they're just underground.

like i said man, P-Money is a fucking beast! he's the main, if not only reason NZ hip hop has an edge over Aussie hip hop, because both have dope lyricists, but the Aussie beats ain't shit compared to P-Money.

lol yeah but we have more good producers too. fire & ice are the shi'ite. atp is good too, he's living in aus but he's a new zealander. p-money is moving away from hip hop though. he's trying out a new sound with his new album i think. have you heard his new single? its called everything i need, the beat is awesome as but its a damn r&b song.

meh, the tracks i've heard from the Deceptikonz were ill. not as good as the rest, but dope still. i'm just saying too, P-Money = NZ's DJ Premier, regardless of what he does in music (don't forget, Premo worked with Christina Aguilera, Limp Bizkit, etc.). if there were no other good producers in NZ it wouldn't matter because all you need is P.

that's not really R&B, it's like a mix of R&B and electronica. it's kind of like the style of music Peanut Butter Wolf moved to after Charizma's death (but from this sound, P-Money can pull off the cross-over better).

Che Fu Feat. DLT - Chains (DLT on the beat)

King Kapisi - Subcranium Feeling

King Kapisi - Screams From The Old Plantation

Che Fu - Waka (i like the use of island drums should be used more in hip hop, but this is more of an r&b song)

lmao check this out. this is like a song from late 70's or early 80's, its not exactly hip hop but you can see the obvious hip hop in it. check out the dude break dancing.

Tight ^^

We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...
