Yeah Kriptah, would be really great to get bboying mainstream again especially in europe, and worldwide...I mean it's still known in here because of BOTY, Red Bull Battle etc... but's not the same as back in 1990-2000. The whole think with the BOTY etc started in Germany with 5000 viewers with mostly german crews, but after a few years the hype took over everywhere. Legendary crews like Rock Force Crew, Flying Steps were born and breakbeats like "Super Sonic" by Music Instructor were at the top of the charts...But the hype really is over right now! All that new shitty hip hop dance styles wich are not even half impressive as breakdance at all, got famous...But Korea got the hype a bit later and really took it to another level and if people see crews like gamblerz and the real art of dancing in movies, there could be a new hype going around everywhere

i just hope we see gamblers doing there regular powermoves
that amaze any bboy and bboy fan.. but also only 5 or 6 members
are in the movie and darkness or sick aint one of them witch sucks

i wanna see a crew win BOTY that isnt a huge bboy country like Australia.
Poland (battled a dude from poland for 50bucks the other day..)
etc etc to win battle of the year cause it would put a new face

Australia has some dope bboys "Fresh Sox" but there creativ side is
"wack" and at the BOTY the crew with the best creativ side gets best show
the winner (for the first few years...probably gave headjobs the judges)
but the winner nowdays depends are team work and skill not just
the moves in witch made bboy such a big thing,

Yeah that's true, but what about Russia,i think the boty still is famous enough (though it's not the same as it was) to make bboying more interesting in countries like russia (that isn't really popular for bboying). After Top 9 winning it last year a friend of mine told me , he is russian, that people there start to talk about it.

but your correct on the other hand most crews go to BOTY to put there
country on the bboy world map. If a crew from Australia win's the crew
will get known here for about a month then boom the next big thing of the month
steps in,,.Europe is lucky it can have as many crews in it as it wants.
exp a few years back (2005...or maybe later then that) there was

Yeah that's true,... crews from europe are mostly balanced rivals (mostly western europe germany, england, france etc), so that it's still a interresting competition. If u put the best crews in there, u can probably call it Battle of Korea , and if u put only one crew from each country (though i also think would be the best) there's the problem of weak crews from poland for example have to battle against crews like gambler etc...and other crews being second in korea or germany don't get any attention even if they would kill these weak crews.

WORD!...you ever wonder why China ain't made it far in bboying?

Only remember STO crew in 2006 wich hasn't been a real competitor for Vagabonds or Last For One. After that no chinese crew made into the boty...
