my point was people in power were using the religion as an excuse. that includes the crusades, its just like the iraq war, what they really want is power etc. but they use religion as an excuse to get people to agree with it. but there would still be wars even without religion. Which religion did hitler use? none. He used the whole suvival of the fittest thing, saying that other races are inferior, what about china? China are anti religion, even banned christianity yet they masacre other people to take control of their land, so saying war is all because of religious beliefs is straight stupid.

Hitler used alot methods most were through propergander machines that employed fear
and through sparking hatred over there loss in ww1 which made germanys economy suffer for a very long time
plus taking land that they claimed as there own. The whole inferior race sure was a factor after all brainwashing was

Then pressured on the coalition of the willing at the time to help them invade. i dont remember hearing anything about religion being an excuse for invasion

they tell the troops God is on their side, that this is God's will, george bush even said that God told him to invade iraq. That these terroists are evil muslims who only want to take away americas "freedom". but all this is just an excuse to get the people on their side and make it easier to manipulate them.
