seriously though, time just exists because matter exist. this of course presupposes solipsism/idealism are false, but many scientists/philosophers are now toying with the idea that time didn't exist until after the big bang because that is also what created matter and without matter there is no time.

so yes i think time is a man made invention of measuring certain things. so i agree with the definition 8diagrams quoted from wikipedia, i think that really says it all
