why make words "bad"? like, why create words that are forbidden? it's pointless. i think we should work towards lessening the power of bad words to where they are just informal rather than forbidden. so if you use "fuck" in an essay, it will simply be looked at as informal and you will get graded down for it, but you won't get in trouble for it. i think creating words people can get in trouble for is simply creating an opportunity for people to hurt others through words. when there are no words like that, it alone, i think, will solve of problems.
Without bad words, there would be no way for us to express how we feel about the man that is Eboyd, which would then ultimately make us resort to using words like 'tool' or.. well I don't actually seem to have an alternative.

satan uses bad words as way of getting people to sin "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain

I've always found it interesting that so many curse words are associated with religious or holy terms, "Holy Shit" "What the hell" "God damn" "Son of a bitch" (possibly :P) etc. Who the hell ever thought to say that shit?
I agree though, bad words allow for the boiling of emotions. Instead of discussing with sophistication, people throw around "bad" words.
We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...
