first the apostles didnt try and com e up with their own theology, they all shared the same views right after Pentecost when the Holy Spirit filled them with knowledge also christians give out tiths to help out the church, but also to minimize man's love for money because you cannot worship God and mammon....however if the church uses this money for their own benefit, its wrong, but keep in mind a priest doesnt have a fixed salary and finally if you think that a donkey is the equivalent of a mercedies benz back in the day, you need to get your balls sergically removed, lol....horses/chariots would be a better ride

i know preachers need the money but im talking about preachers who use it just get rich, preachers who keep telling people how they need to pay tithes every 5 mins, preachers who then go beyond the tithe and demand they're followers pay more money on top of that. the person who said a donkey was the equivalent of a mercedes benz was bishop td jakes the televangelist and probably millionare, he said it as an excuse for his own life style. Check out the writings of Paul he was coming up with rules for the christians and they had they're own unique rules such as celebrating the sabath on a sunday instead of saturday like the jews, eating non kosher food, paul and peter had a big argument over that coz they disagreed, thats what i meant.

ok your right, it depends on the type of religion too, especially those "new religious movement" ones

why? make some new topics that don't have to do with religion or politics theres so many other things we could be talking about

religion is part of philosophy the purest form of knowledge and politics the same is part of sociology these 2 are very important how humans act and how humans think but good point overall care to give some examples ??

it is about Jesus being a socialist. it is argumentative in nature. do you know how many Americans would be PISSED if they read the title alone? also, let me find the arguments i saw earlier.

Menace, that quote originally came from Lord Acton well over 100 years ago.
