Actually, 11th, I_Guy kind of was going at Lyrical. He's more of an antitheist than an atheist. Atheists often show antitheist qualities, but not as radical. Basically, a patriot is to a nationalist what an atheist is to an antitheist. Antitheism is actually quite dangerous, just as nationalism is. What it does is it makes you a wolf and the religious person a rabbit. The wolf uses vicious tactics to corner the rabbit and when cornered, the only thing the rabbit can do -- and 99x out of 100 they will do it -- is claw their way out. The way he approaches arguments begs a very emotionally charged response and gets people heated. I love both of you guys, but the only thing that needs to be put aside for a moment is the overbearing amount of passion being expressed from both sides. God doesn't need to be put aside, nor does being a non-believer, they just both need to be toned down or what will happen is we will do damage not only to each other, but to this lovely site that we have all worked so hard to establish and maintain.

Wow pretty intense shit I_Guy dont u think thats a bit harsh to bash someone for believing in religion?
Im sure theres more ways to talk to someone about it then saying their God sucks or watever

i have to agree with meth he did go a little overboard, but anyway this thread isn't even supposed to be a debate is it? its a thread linking a guys myspace that's all but it turned into a big argument, if you want to have a respectful debate about God then i suggest making a thread for that in the RHHF Debate section.

nah, RHHF Debate is for debates on site matters. a debate like that belongs in the Knowledge/Political forum. and no, before you even think it, we're not having a new Debate section because we like to debate so much. just debate appropriately in the proper forums and we should be fine.

Yeah it's harsh. But like I said I am harsh when it comes to this topic. I know when I am being harsh, and out of respect for this site and because of the big attempt to resolve the issue, I just won't post when I'm feeling harsh. I guess I won't drop an opinion, I'll just drop facts and evidence. No problem.
