Expanding on the success of the street children project, (http://www.restlessbeings.org/projects/dhaka-street-children) Restless Beings kicked off the 100kids campaign at the beginning of Februrary. The campaign is looking to create a village where 100 marginalised street children living in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The Village will consist of:
- A school building with classrooms and offices
- An accommodation building to house 100 children
- A playground area in the middle of the village complex
- A fishery, where children can breed fish to sell to the local markets
Melissa-Melodee is an exciting and talented London based Singer/Songwriter/Rapper/Poet. As a songwriter she performs and records music that educates and raises awareness about world affairs. Upon hearing about the project and the campaign, she was saddened to hear what these children go through on a daily basis and wrote 'Broken Hearts' which she has dedicated to the street children.
