Seriously, Charlie Sheen is awesome as hell. He just looks sorta crazy as fuck and says crazy ass shit. But that's what makes him awesome as hell.
I think he tries too much to be funny all the time. Maybe he's been affected by his role on Two and a Half Men. He brings a serious point with a series of jokes, just like the series.

Is it about his skills as an actor then? If music excused Kurt Cobain's drug controlled lifestyle, can comedy excuse Charlie Sheen's? At least he's clean now, and it really is the media who tries to make him look like a crazy, depraved bastard. He's not at all the perfect rolemodel, but he's far from the worst. When people say he's crazy, he's just trying to be funny.
ABC is making too big a deal out of this. And Two and a Half Men is quite funny. It's cheap humour mostly though. It's gone on for too long, so it had to end soon anyway. Just sad it had to end this way. Added (19/Mar/11, 11:10 PM)

Also, and there's a lot of people, who believe that the 11/9-2001 incident (yeah, I'm that stubborn, it's dd/mm-yyyy, everything else is stupid) was an inside job. Admire that he actually sent a video message to the president, because of what he believes. BTW just thought it was funny, someone in that video says something like "a true patriot asks questions". How often has the meaning of that word been changed in the last 10 years?
