"If 50 Cent doesn't receive some money from the government its very possible that we may never hear another Tony Yayo or Loyd Banks album."

^^^^^that is the point of the article. The point is that why are we giving bailouts to the exact people who created the problem in the first place by stacking such a large amount of money and living so lavishly that they completely threw off the economic equillibrium? and we're going to give these people more money? That is why we fucked up to begin with. One of the politicians was smart though. He said that we will not bail out GM until the CEO steps down. He also called for the conceptual GM/Chrysler merger. The writer is being sarcastic with that quote you found Mark. The true msg is that just as we won't bailout hip hop, we don't need to bailout other corporations.

That's just as bad.

Car makers need to have a plan that will allow them to create jobs and be healthy. Not some money so they can delay the inevitable bankruptcy.
