back in the day when south africa was segregated they wouldn't allow blacks to play rugby with white players and south africa wouldn't play any other team that had black players.

im a little disappointed, i thought this was a biopic on mandelas life, not a movie about rugby. nothing wrong with rugby but it just seems the story of mandela is so much more rich than this one. dudes in his 90s now seen damn near 100years on this planet.

maybe it will be about Mandela too? maybe just gonna involve rugby. rugby did play a part in bringing the country together so if they can make a movie like Remember The Titans than why not, but it might not just be a movie about rugby.

i wanted it to show him growing up, what inspired him and go in depth on his incarceration. im still going to watch it, just not as excited because it does look like it starts right before or after his presidency
