yeah i know its messed up, in NZ its not even just them, a lot of Pacific Islanders who move here live in the same communities as these guys and in the same situations. I guess its because the europeans went all around the world with their superior guns took over everyone elses land and forced them to live by their ways and now we're stuck in poverty its fucked up. You can see why the Nation of Islam was started by a Maori pretending to be a muslim, he saw the black community was in the same situation. Of course there are a lot of campaigns in NZ to stop this domestic violence and things are getting better here in NZ, the Maori have more of a say and now a voice in parliament. This guy Witi Ihimaera did other positive stories about Maori too.
btw this was shot in the same city i live, of course i don't live in a shit hole like that, that was mostly in South Auckland. Its weird i guess thats a consistant pattern too, Auckland is the biggest city, has both the richest and the poorest in nz just like LA has the richest and the poorest
