true and false, depending on who you talk to. a large portion of the country voted for him based on race. he fooled them. i would contest that a larger portion voted for him simply as an alternative to McCain, and those people weren't fooled. no matter how bad Obama may be, he's slightly superior to McCain, though we shouldn't have people (or corporations) ruling over us at all, and that would be the optimal situation for any country. i would say that Bush fooled America though. there's no such thing as a business that is "too-big-to-fail". let a business like Fannie Mae fail, then sell the stock to the people that work there on an equal basis (as in a worker coop, not an ESOP). when there are no longer financial officers who make absurd amounts of money, that company should, in theory, have a much easier time increasing productivity and pulling itself out of financial crisis. true or false?
