imo this is a very good album, mostly due to its production but its not exactly a "classic". Jay z was pretty good but not his best. Of course, many of you guys know this was one of kanye's first big breaks as an artist (including producing a good amount of tracks on talib kweli's "quality"). Many other producers like Just blaze (who is imo a beast at producing), Bink!, Timbaland, Eminem, Poke and Tone helped out on the production on this album.

The tracks i recommend:
Renegade featuring. Eminem (i had to start off with the obvious)
Takeover
Heart Of the City
Song Cry
Blueprint (i love the beat to this song)
Breath Easy (lyrical Exercise)

there is a couple of tracks i dont like on this album like "jigga that nigga", that song was soo wack. Hola Hovito was a big wtf. Girls, Girls, Girls bring back memories and shit probably b/c of the beat but the lyrics is trash imo. Izzo (H.O.V.A) was alright yet again kanye west production skills saved the song

Flow: 88
Lyrics: 86
Production: 94
X-Factor: 87
Overall: 88.75=89.0% great album close to a classic

i thought it was a bit over rated personally, although heart of the city is fuckin classic.
