J. Flexx used to be signed to Death Row Records from 93 - 99, when he saw Dr. Dre driving in his Ferrari, he motioned to Dr. Dre to pull over and gave him his demo tape, Dr. Dre ended up signing him. J. Flexx joined Sam Sneeds group Street Scholars and also became Dre's ghostwriter writing lyrics for his songs Natural Born Killers, Keep Their Heads Ringin', California Love and Been There Done That. After Dre started his own label J. Flexx recorded a diss track to him titled "Who Been There, Who Done That". Unfortunatley due to all the shit happening at death row during his time Sam Sneed left the label and the Street Scholars album was never released, J. Flexx was also doing a solo album on Death Row which was bootlegged two years ago still unfinished. He released his first official album Billboard Dreams in 2007. He has also worked with charity groups and even ghostwrote lyrics for Warren G and Shaquille O'Neal.

he's a really talented lyricist though

J. Flexx & Sam Sneed - Lady Heroin

they shot a music video for the song Lady Heroin, there's a long story behind it, aparently hardly any of the others from Death Row turned up for the video, according to Daz Tupac and Suge beat up Sam Sneed because he represented the East Coast and didn't represent the West Coast enough in the video. However J. Flexx and Sam Sneed have both hinted that it was actually because Sam Sneed wanted to leave Death Row and join Dr. Dre at Aftermath. J. Flexx talks a bit about it on the song Get Mine And Go saying he told Sam not to attend the meeting and that he ended up taking a beating for Dre.

Into The Wind

remix of Lady Heroin with Lady of Rage (not as good as the original)

the first verse in this one is about The D.O.C. maybe Suge wanted J. Flexx to diss D.O.C because D.O.C left the label in 94
