SHYNE TO BE RELEASED OR NOT?

A Clinton Correctional Facility staffer told Crimesider that New York Rapper Shyne was released from prison today after serving more than eight years for his role in a 1999 New York night club shooting involving mentor Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and actress Jennifer Lopez. But a report from MTV says that the Combs protégé remains in custody at an "unspecified facility in Western New York State," while U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement decides his fate. The Web site of the New York State Department of Corrections seemed to indicate that Shyne was released from Woodbourne Correctional Facility on Oct. 6, 2009 and was on parole but his release was subject to immigration review. According to MTV, his release is now under review, as representatives for the rapper revealed to MTV News that the Brooklyn MC is being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an unspecified facility in Western New York State. Officials are determining whether or not to deport the rapper, who was born in Belize, a rep explained. "Shyne is currently in federal custody while his future immigration status is determined," the rep said in a message to MTV. Shyne attorney Oscar Michelen emphasized to MTV News on Tuesday afternoon that Shyne has not been released, contrary to media reports. While serving time, the rapper released two albums and reportedly converted to Judaism. He legally changed his name Moses Michael Leviy.

Diddy did everything he could to keep himself out of prison, and he didn't even try to help shyne. Some guy got shot, not sure if he died though

Diddy's a fucking snake. He should have serves almost as much time as Shyne. Unfortunately money talks though. I wouldn't be surprised if Diddy is having Shyne deported because he's scared Shyne might kill his ass. Hopefully he does.

shit man just read this, fuck diddy

"As most of us know, Shyne was set to be released last week after serving nine years in prison but that is currently on hold while officials decide whether to deport the rapper back to Belize, where his father is the Prime Minister. Dean Barrow (Shynes dad) says he has written New York Governor David Paterson, asking that his son be pardoned, so that he isn't deported. "Obviously all sorts of things are happening in the States and it is clear a move is afoot to deport him and it is also clear that he is seeking to resist that, but I am sure where the legal processes are at this juncture," he stated but "I have not had a response," he said.

In related news, as we reported last week Diddy recently said "I spoke with him a couple weeks ago. He sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can't wait to get home." According to Shyne not only did the call never happen, it probably never will. "I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs' imagination," the rapper stated. "He never spoke with me, he never visited me nor would I ever accept a phone call or visit from him. The only way I would do either of those things would be if he stepped up and did the right thing for the victims of the incident." But he made Biggie without Diddy. Biggie would probably have died in the streets. Tupac would be a fairly popular underground mc due to the lack of the east vs west publicity, And so much. Its like killing a butterfly in the past, and changing the future.

nah Biggie made Diddy,

someone else would have signed Biggie he was a popular battle MC.

There's a Ray Bradbury story in here somewhere :D Btw, there was no feud between the east vs. west. Death Row wanted it to be but it was always just them vs. Bad Boy.

there were other artists that didn't like what the west coast were doing in the early 90's too, Tupac also dissed The Fugee's, Mobb Deep, Chino XL, The Firm (Nas, AZ, Cormega, Nature, Foxy Brown), Jay-Z all who had nothing to do with Bad Boy except for Jay-Z's collabs with Biggie, but yeah it wasn't just Death Row vs Bad Boy there was a bit of east vs west even though they all deny it.
