 dope post boyd but i gotta admit abstract hip hop isnt really my thing, i know you love saul williams but man i cant stand it, i took a look at the album thinking it was gonna be dope cos i heard you talk about him but nahhh its not for me lol

i havnt heard much of clutchys stuff but what ive heard sounds dope, good looking on the thread man cool

 np. Saul Williams really takes patience to get used to. you need to be able to get into the experimental stuff from every genre to get into him. if you can't do punk rock, avant garde, etc., you can't do Saul. he's easily the best writer in hip hop thus far though. he's the only hip hop artist i've ever since promoted at the Los Angeles Philharmonic. that takes musical talent. he's not usually rapping though. he's one of those types of dudes trying to expand your mind and trying to get you to see music as a whole and not just hip hop in a box. Clutchy is the same. that is the beauty of abstract hip hop and experimental. you can't say you don't like that style because there is no style. every piece of music in that genre is different, even referring to the same artist.

 word have you checked out brooklyn funk essentials? theyre dope, getting a lot of plays from me right now. theyre kinda funky abstract hip hop deffo worth a look

 i'll check it when i can. gotta go to school in... now actually. it takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half to get there.
