dude, please. don't sit here and act like i was serious. of course there are opinions and they are fully subjective. the only thing is that we are representing something here. that something is real hip hop. when we use the term real we are referring to that which is pure which in this case means it hasn't been altered by monetary interests. Eminem's later work has been altered in such a manner and so it is not considered part of this movement. his early work is a different story, but as he progressed as an artist he further fulfilled his corporate image and so we try to avoid anything post "Marshall Mathers LP." if we didn't represent our name we would be hypocrites and that is the one thing we want to avoid doing. that is why you get backlash when you mention Encore, "Crack a Bottle," etc. you may like them, and that is cool, but unless you are in the **** Talk section, there's no reason to discuss it and it therefore shouldn't be discussed. if you disagree with that, i'm sorry, but think of it this way. what if some dude came on talking about how real Soulja Boy was and he was coming at you like you are me now? would you say that this specific talk doesn't belong here or would you allow it? i would say that i would ask him to stop because that is not what this movement is about, and in fact it is about something that opposes that, so it is nothing personal, it is just that we don't want people positively discussing what we oppose here unless it is presented as a constructive argument from the enemy to help us counter it.
