well usually there's a basic song structure:

chorus>verse1>chorus>verse2>chorus>verse3>end

theres little to no dynamics within hip hop music (the only exception I can think of is one mic by nas)

And very rarely does any hip hop songs have any other time signature than 4/4... there are some exceptions, only a couple songs tho.

 that's the entire music industry from the 70's till now Bob Marley had the same type but his music was GOLDEN and check The Roots i think they don't use that pattern

even music back from the 70's had dynamics (soul, r&b, jazz), many rock bands even today experiment with different time signatures.

All I'm sayn is that I don't believe that music can influence the growth of your brain THAT MUCH.
