 While I think "The Chronic" is the more influential album, "Doggystyle" IMO shits all over "The Chronic".

& "The Chronic" has the better lyrics than "Doggystyle"???? I'm sorry but I COMPLETELY disagree with that.

And the only thing I dont like about the lyrics in doggystyle is how it ripped so many concepts/punchlines from the chonic.

Its almost like Doggystyle is a remix of the chrnoic IMO

LOL, SnoopG79 is my name because Snoopy was a nickname from my parents growing up & my real name is Greg. It has nothing to do with Snoop Dogg at all. Hell, I actually think Kurupt spit doper lyrics on "Doggystyle" than Snoop did, even thou Snoop did the damn thing too.

"Doggystyle" is mos def a sequel to "The Chronic" but I think on "Doggystyle", they took the G-funk style to another level. "The Chronic" was always the setup to something more IMO.

& of course the punchlines & stuff are the same because Snoop wrote most of Dre's lyrics for "The Chronic".

When the chronic came out, it was g-funk, but it really wasnt set in stone.
They werent quite sure if this was going to fly as well as it did.
