artist don't have complete creative control

That could be understood if I listened to those yes rappers who did whatever their labels told them. But I don't. From what I hear, the artist is usually the boss and the label is the bitch. If somebody is letting their label puppeteer them, then that's sad.

no wtf he made a horrible album it will always be on his track record anytime any two people look at bis there gonna be like oh man remember that shitty album he made same with nas no artists can get away with a shitty album only thing they can do is release something good and hope fans buy it

Wat about JMT?
Visions of Ghandi was boring as hell..anyone talks about it? no
Noone cares about Nastrodomous anymore, Nas recovered from that with Stillmatic
Canibus recovered from C True Hollywppd Stories then fell off with Hip Hop 4 Sale then came back with FWBT

yeah i doesnt lol, but i think hes trying to get at the fact that the albums are good compared to all of the other trash out there, but bad compared to the artists previous works.

i thnk ppl need to realize that artists got bills to pay. its ez to say an artist shuld nevr sell out when they don't hav a house they hav to pay for or a family they gotta take care of.
