Would like to see that but don't know about having Doom on the team.. He's boring on the mic and I doubt he'd be able to really give Jay-Z any competition. As long as he has some decent emcees on his team it'd be cool.

LMFAO! lol yup, yall know me too well! Haha! Nah, but seriously, to deny Saul Williams writing skill is to show your ignorance of what truly superb penmanship is regardless of if you like his music or not. He's not only the best slam poet but he is the poetic voice of the new millennium and the most sought after poet in the world as of current especially for the spoken word genre. His style actually contrasts mine in that I'm not a big proponent to spoken word, but when someone of his caliber comes along I recognize it and I can't deny his unfuckwitability lol

As for ill, I recognize that there is wack hip hop. The only line I draw is between commercial pop music and hip hop. Hip hop is not and never will be pop music and it is actually historically a reaction against pop music, so when pop music is made, like, for example, a majority of TI's music, I don't consider it hip hop, I consider it pop or pop rap. Now TI may have a few hip hop tracks and whether they are good or not they are hip hop, like live in the sky was arguably a hip hop track. It wasn't made for the intention of being a pop song and actually contrasted the pop music of the time, so because the intention was hip hop I am inclined to call that track hip hop even though I thought it was wack. But seriously, hip hop started when Kool Herc was playing shit by artists that were getting no love. That's what hip hop is and has been about forever. Giving light to music that went under the radar.
