And on another note, have you ever wondered if maybe we ARE wrong? Maybe were just too closed minded. I mean Soulja boy isnt hiphop (No doubt on that one) but if hiphop is simply self expression, than I could walk out in the street and say something that rhymes, and it has the way I feel about something in it, and its hip hop.
I mean damn some people here get WAY, WAY to technical about what hiphop is/isnt. it really takes the art away from it all.

to T.I read some of his lyrics and the dude does
have some alright work but! he is just not hip-hop
if you wanted to call someone like bob dylan hip-hop
then id agree with you he in a way had the first hip-hop track
that track where his in the allyway with the paper with words
if you have done your research on hip-hop and have
heard the track before you would know what i mean

neither one of us are learning anything from each other, and Im not changin my views, and I think you feel the same.
its jsut people change their idea of what hiphop is too often. Hiphop can be something to you, and something else to me. It just depends on how you are. No one can say THIS IS HIPHOP. Because that is just how they percieve the art. It can mean everything to someone, and nothing to the next guy.
All that matters is that you connect with the music, bboying, or whatever. Thats all.
If you dont connect, then go listen to whatever (not directed towards you.)
Just listen to the music. Enjoy the artwork. Watch the people dance. Move with the rhthym.
Its just a lifestyle.
and its not like you can tell someone you HAVE to live life your way or else it isnt hiphop. Hiphop is what you make of it.
Some make it out as black guys talking about bitches, drugs, and hoes. Others, (like us) see it as a way to bring people together, and a lifestyle.
Either way, it doesent matter.
