I've heard that Inspectah Deck's verse was added in from another song. But who knows.

Yeah, he definitely was on some version, but it's just hard to say which version is legit.

lol! Deck sounds like he phoned his verse in haha! that's probably why it got cut! it was dope though! in all honesty though there are a few reasons this track never became one of Pac's big hits: 1. Pac was the only person on the track mixed down correctly. i can barely hear anyone else.
2. most of his best know tracks are more upbeat. he had a few tracks on this same vibe that never blew up any more than this did either ("Bring The Pain" for example).
3. idk. i'd say that was probably it. this should have been such a deadly combination but it didn't turn out to be. oh well. still a solid track. and yes, lyrically/flow wise Deck murdered it, but what do you expect? unfortunately the fact it sounds phoned in detracts from the verse big time.
