it's ok. lyrics on point like usual as with flow and delivery, but it's hard to understand. i think he's mixed in too quiet. the main thing bugging me though is the beat. all of the beats he's gotten on recently have been mediocre, maybe a little above average. i want to hear Ra on stellar beats. i think it's only right for such an amazing emcee to have equally amazing beats.

I'm sure he'll have a variety on the album... everybody has their own ear tho' so a mediocre beat to you might be "stellar" to the next man.....
I dont think the beat is amazing but its nice... I could see AZ killin' this on a remix!

None of the beats I've heard him get on for this so far have been stellar. In fact I'd say beat selection is where Rakim lacks, just like Nas, and always has. I mean, he got on DOPE beats back in the day with Eric B., but if you listen to their albums, almost half of their beats are bland, especially the last one. In fact their last album, quite possibly more than half were bland. He's not on that commercial bullshit like Nas is now though.
