Are there any new artists making miami bass? Is there even a miami bass scene anymore? It just seems to be reggaeton now or rick ross type of crap.

i was never big into Miami Bass (although i can't deny that Uncle Luke and the crew were hilarious and made some good music to listen to on occasion) so it really doesn't make much of a difference, but yeah, i think Miami Bass was pretty much a fad just like Rick Ross and mainstream Reggaeton will prove to be.

man, i live in Southern California. i have friends who are from Latin America and have been listening to Reggaeton since the late nineties. this fine ass Latina chick i used to have in all my classes was talking about how dope Reggaeton was before it got popular and how wack it is now and that was in like 2004.
