Tolerating wackness is just one of the ways to revive Hip Hop...artist that sit back and bitch about it all the time will only be wasting their breath cuz Hip Hop wont come back alive over night..u gotta have patience and to be patient u gotta be tolerant...but thats just how I am

That sentence made zero sense to me, not only the point you were trying to make but you were trying to make a statement and then all of a sudden you add "that's just how I am"? But I didn't realize it was so simple, so if I just bump Lil Wayne all day everyday and tolerate it I will revive hip hop? Pinky promise?

Meth is right, some of you guys got your heads a foot deep in the ground. Ya'll need to stop that "real" bullshit. Its like a cult who got a time machine, went like 10 years back before they were born. To hear "real" shit, but got to happy and cummed all over the circuit board, and got stuck in the past.

Some music is timeless, you're saying that because something that's dope as heck to me that was created ten years ago and not now I shouldn't listen to it? That I should rather pull out a Gucci Mane CD and do the stanky leg just because it's new? IF some of the stuff that was created back then that I enjoy listening to was created today I would listen to it, if it sounds wack or annoying to me then I don't listen to it, I don't give a fuck if it's getting airplay on all the 'hot' radio stations or not and I don't really care whether it's underground or not either. Real Hip Hop was a term that needed to be created because, there's so many types of Hip-Hop and someone who hasn't really listened to it in 99% of cases will associate all of it with Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Souljah Boy, 50 Cent and all of that garbage and think Hip-Hop as a whole is garbage and I can't really blame them, it's wack. (FYI Real Hip Hop isn't necessarily Underground Hip Hop to me.)

About the track though, the production was decent, Akon doesn't really annoy me, I don't care if he's mainstream and I didn't really mind him on the track but Maino was just something you had to sit through on the track and Rakim did pretty good.

No if you read my post thoroughly, you would notice how your CUM STUCKED. Stucked, you think of yourself as a hip hop head, and its dear to you bla bla bla bla. But your not, your just "real" minded idiot. How can you be down with this site and what its stands for, if you can't even confront the hip hop today? You want good music, then you got to sit down with whats given today, and instead sleeping on everything not "real," try and make a difference insteading being some ignorant kid who shuns anything except the dope part. And honestly I don't think half of ya'll have a personal opinion on whats wack and whats real. You just want to be different, but in doing so. You end up like all the others cum stucked.

Did Erik convince that into u while he was blowing ur pipes?

the fact that whenever i come across a song from that album on my ipod i just skip to the next song nearly every time. i bet you haven't even listened to that album since last year and that's because there isn't a single song on that album that makes you think "damn i feel like listening to that really dope song off that untitled album" coz there is no really dope song just okay songs.

oh and this is laughable. i agree that artists shouldn't just make songs about bitching because there's nothing good in a song about that topic. but hearing an average or shitty song and saying that its good is deffinitely not reviving hip hop. supporting or expecting good hip hop is the way to do that.

EXACTLY! Btw, EmSeeD, I still bump "Queens Get The Money" all the time. That's the only exception though. Everything else is less than memorable.

Stucked? Do you realize that that's not even a word? I don't get out of my way to listen to garbage (underground or mainstream, if it's boring I don't bother with it, is this really so hard for you to understand? No? Then why don't you seem to be able to get that through your semi-retarded head?), that's all. I don't really care if you do. And as for sleeping on everything not real, I actually liked this track I just didn't like Maino on it and you're blaming me for not liking Souljah Boy, Lil Wayne & their sound-alikes? It's all about taste, I guess. Where exactly does it say that I have to sit down and listen to all the garbage that is coming out today? I don't believe I have to but there's still some quality music out there although it's harder to find nowadays. As for personal opinions, I already explained why I listen to what I listen to, I don't like most of what's coming out today but some of it I do and if I do I will listen to it, if I don't then I probably won't. However you're no one to be the judge of that if you're (as you seem to be, judging by what you're saying) one of those people who when they get asked "So, what music do you like?" "Well.. Anything that's hot, on Flash FM you know I'm down with that. Lil Wayne, all of that garbage. I'm a real Hip-Hop head duke, I sit down and listen to all of it. Wanna' go back to my crib and bump some Gucci Mane?" "Naw man.." "Aight.. Well, I go tsome T-Pain too if you're interested?"

If you let the radio effect your music taste like that then you can't even really call yourself an individual, you don't even deserve the title. Maybe you like it because it's 'good music' to you and if so, I really don't give a shit but if you're going to give me shit because I don't like it then you can fuck off.

It didn't make sense with his first reply, so not my fault. He thought I was saying "if its new, listen to it." Which I was not trying to say, I was referring to the people who don't bother with new music, or don't mess with commercial music. That nothing is going to grow and change if you don't give your constructive opinion on hip hop today. I never named artist that you should listen to without a purpose. His reply was misguided from the start.

Adam is basically saying some underground fans need to just grow some balls and quit complaining about the music today. Theyre obviously not doing anything to stop the music from coming out so quit bitching about it. Some poeple dont even kno wat they consider wack or real. They just go by the guidelines already set with the hip hop community instead of forming their own opinion.

I happen to agree with Adam. There are mindless underground followers as there are mindless mainstream followers. Dnt even deny that isnt true because it is and people need to realize that.

I believe you said "Ya'll need to stop that "real" bullshit. Ya'll got a time machine and ya'll be like.. in the time you know like... ya'll way back, 10 years ago, before ya'll were born and ya'll still there to listen to real shit but ya'll cum stucked on the circuit board yadidamean?"

I don't know if it's just me but that sounds like you're giving us shit about listening to stuff that's not new? "You got stuck in the past", how's that misguided? Am I not allowed to listen to stuff, just because it's old? How was my reply misguided?

And I was supposed to get that ^^ from the comment I will quote below?

If so, you've got some serious communication related issues.

This website I would like to believe, is not only about the good music we all prefer, but trying to change and give present hip hop some maturity. Because hip hop is growing atm, and we should try and help it get back to the meaningful music. And yes you should have gotten the meaning of my post from what was being discussed by meth before.
