In a new diss track directed at Jay Z (called What You Talkin Bout (Average Cat) (Jay-Z Diss), former associate and friend Beanie Sigel goes in hard on Jay, Roc-a-fella and Damen Dash, with claims of cop calling, failure to pay up, abandonment and a particular line which threatens Jay that what he knows could ruin his long time relationship with wife Beyonce. [Listen to Average Cat (Jay-Z Diss)] Beanie Sigel didn't just release the track and hide behind its lyrics either, as he called in to speak to Charlamagne the God on broadcast radio, clarifying his diss, and the foundation of this beef, which he says was sparked by lyrics in a Jay Z song, "Already Home" where he rapped that "I heated up the Roc already, why can't y'all get hot already?".
That wasn't the only sore spot Sigel had with Jigga's album, saying "When I listened to The Blueprint 3, I heard a lot of shots directed towards people." and adding that he felt that he should have been included on the latest Blueprint, "I feel he gave out a lot of pairs of shoes on that album," the upset rapper added. "I felt my feet was meant for a couple of them."
During Sigel's track, he drops allegation after allegation, with lyrics like "How it feel to get exposed? Don't you feel naked?/ I was a fly on the wall, shit I witnessed/ I can say shit that will make B look at you different."
Then, he drops bombs that Jay had the cops called to remove him from the rappers September 11 performance in New York, claiming in the song that "The rapper Shawn called the police on me/cause I was front row at the Blueprint 3," Siegel raps. "Shit, I just wanted to see him MC, and reminisce on when we was the R.O.C./But he called all the C.O.Ps, not only that, he brought out the F.E.Ds/So that’s telling me 'F You Sieg,’/so F you too and F Bleek three."
