Shit is mad old. Art Of Origin was a hip-hop duo Chino + Kaoz. They released only 12 inch single "Into The Pit". Shit is mad nice. They broke up ad Chino went to record "Here To Save You All" and Kaoz went to make house music. btw Chino's moustache is fucking corny (it looks like his first moustache lol)

Yeah, it definitely is. I also sometimes imagine how different PB Wolf's music would be right now if he hadn't been killed. He was easily one of the best producers with the beats he was dropping on the album he and Charizma did but after Charizma died he went all weird and shit. Of course at the same time, if Charizma were still alive you and I would have never heard of Stones Throw records because it wouldn't exist. So no "Madvillainy", no "PB Wolf Presents..." compilations, no "Perseverance", no Madlib albums (at least not the ones he's been dropping and he wouldn't be nearly as famous), and arguably, J Dilla wouldn't have been half as great as he was.

Idk man, it's hard, because Charizma died before his style really developed. Chino went from a similar style to Charizma's but turned into this hardcore emcee. I've always thought of Charizma as more similar to Common's style of emceeing. It's hard to say what he would have done in his career had he lived. PB Wolf may have still hooked up with Madlib for example and we may be hearing him over Madlib beats right now. Maybe they would have made it big as they seemed to be coming close to doing and would have become affiliated with someone like Native Tongues Posse. Maybe Charizma would have switched it up and become hardcore and fucked with Chino. Who knows? All I know is that he and PB Wolf dropped a classic in 1992 that wasn't released until PB Wolf opened Stones Throw. They dropped "Big Shots" in 2005 I believe. Pick it up if you have the chance. Worst case scenario just dl it. It's well worth it. It's one of my top 15 albums of all time I'd say.
