i enjoy Rage Against the Machine very much. From what i know De La Rocha didnt want "Renegades" to come out, but it did anyways, i think that this was the final nail in the coffin so to speak for the split from rage. Which he had already left by the time it was released. I dont think they did. Battle for Los Angeles still had the same message as the other ones. You couldnt really consider the 4th album a proper rage album as it was just covers.

nah man that album was all cover songs, the song Renegades is a cover of the song by Afrika Bambaataa.

Well KRS is still wacky to this day so nothing changed with him....That Eminem thing is true...Thats my favorite MC and Im still an avid fan but he can do better without that accent...
