For the exception of Tiron and Ayomari yes. Crooked I is probably the best thing happening for the west right now in terms of lyrical abilities. I dont think an West MC can spit like him atm

yeah he's got an album coming out that he's looking for fans to help fund. btw i think Crooked I's lyrics are better than Fashawn but Fashawn had a better producer Exile and had some better song concepts also other up and coming west coast emcee's Strong Arm Steady, they just put out an album they did with Madlib

 Thats sad...The industry was not nice to him....its obvious he doesnt want a poor quality album but damn when resources are short u gotta pull thru it and make a dope album regardless of budget
