“those who consider themselves the most adamant adherents of “real” hip-hop can also be the least knowledgeable.” –Adilifu Nama; an excert from his perception of Nas’s “Genesis”
i liked the song Queens Get The Money, didn't like America, i thought You Can't Stop Us Now, that beat i think was also used by MF DOOM and RZA previously. i don't really like the beats for Stillmatic, thought Got Yourself A Gun was corny as hell, didn't like the beat for Ether, haven't even heard nastradamus, i am, gods son and streets disciple. illmatic of course was dope and it was written was dope. i listened to half of hip hop is dead and the only beat i liked from that whole album was Hustlers, one of Dr. Dre's last good recent beats. the production on Distant Relatives was pretty decent, not classic material but good enough, Untitled had a few good tracks, i thought Testify was the best beat on the whole album, but unfortunatley Nas spat what sounded like some freestyle rhymes anyway Joker why do you give us some evidence of why Nas beat selection is ass? http://chirbit.com/emseed http://youtube.com/siwooot
God's Son got really good beats (except that one that Eminem produced). Nastradamus is the perfect example of Nas picking wrong beats Anime-Planet.com - anime | manga | reviews
