came to mention this. also, it's a coincidence you mention this because i've been pumping Vol. 2 for the past several days and it is just as good as the first!

Stones Throw has a lot of dope compilations as well btw.

army of the pharoahs tapes
the snowgoons tapes
domingo's album
stoupes the decalogue
carving a new standard in sound (bunch of cats, lmno, mf doom, rbx and more. coo album)
underground airplay vol 2 (as eboyd states above, its pretty dope)
the gatalogue (mainly celph titld but had a few cats on there. its 4 discs)

If you are trying to look for more, i'd look more towards producer albums. they tend to get a mix of people to spit on there shit. also tons of mixtapes and mash ups, unofficial of course.

other than that? hmmm pete rocks joints but those are combos of underground and mainstream but usually the good classic type of mainstream. blue sky black death, there first album heap of broken images was 2 disc and the 2nd disc was all shit from underground cats as well as there dirtnap LP mixtape. 9th wonder has 2 solo albums with various rappers although i dont remember them being especially all that great. there would just be like 3-4 tracks i enjoyed personally. living legends is a bay area super group bunch of cali underground rappers spit on that, not the hyphy rappers but those like murs and grouch are on there. Dela's (not de la soul) atmosphere airlines was coo. muggs soul assassins is awesome but again most of those cats are mainstream, but again mainstream classic. dj mathematics and 4th disciple have one or 2 solos with a bunch of wu affiliates. handsome boy modelling school has a little bit on the first one but mainly just beats. prince amongst thieves... also the wizemen album. its a wu affiliate group with bronze nazereth, timbo king and a few others. dope shit

sorry again a lot of the producer albums im suggesting have some mainstream qualities to them but still awesome listens and compilations if you are interested

Ive heard of a few of those you suggested, not all. That Blue Sku Black Death shit.....wow.lol Checked out a couple tracks and it was just what I needed. Thankyou for that ;)

Im not necessarily a hater of Mainstream Hip Hop man, im just a hater of Wack Hip Hop.lol

I love Dela :-) Been listening to his albums for a while.

You should check out these albums by a UK Producer called Ghost...

Ghost - Freedom Of Thought
Ghost - Postcards From The Edge

Some of the sickest shit to come from the UK in a long time man
