I was thinking about this last night for some reason (was tired as hell) - in Above the Clouds Guru starts his verse off with: "I, self, lord and master,"
I, Self, Lord And Master.
Or in other words, I S L A M. This seems to be pretty popular with muslim emcees as RZA has said before: "Arm, Leg, Leg, Arm, Head" (Allah), I'm fairly sure that's some 5% stuff as well, even though it makes little sense. I'm not sure whether Guru's acronym is 5% or just something homemade though. But yeah, I just felt like posting this for no reason, I've listened to Above the clouds a lot I just never thought of that before.
